What the Belgian Pro League is

The Belgian Pro League is the top division of Belgian football, contested by 18 clubs through the 2026/27 season. It is one of the more competitive leagues in Europe outside the traditional "big five" countries, having produced Champions League quarter-finalists and a steady stream of players who move on to bigger leagues abroad.
