Monterrey's Estadio BBVA hosts four World Cup fixtures. The stadium is one of the most architecturally striking in CONCACAF, with the Cerro de la Silla mountain as a backdrop.
Monterrey is Mexico's third-largest city and its wealthiest — expect modern infrastructure, upscale food, and less of the colonial-Mexican charm of Guadalajara or Mexico City.
